Lamar Jackson was born on 7th January 1997. His birthplace was Pompano Beach, Florida. He spent his childhood days in this place. Lamar Jackson lost his father, who died due to a severe heart attack.

He has siblings, but details of his siblings are not known. Lamar Jackson, along with his siblings, was raised by his mother.


Lamar Jackson’s parents are Lamar Jackson Sr. and Felicia Jones. Lamar Jackson Sr died due to a severe heart attack when Lamar was just eight years old.


Lamar Jackson went to a public school. Lamar played Pop Warner football in the Florida League during his school life. At eight years old, Lamar Jackson could throw a football 20 yards.

Later, Lamar went to Boynton Beach High School in Boynton Beach, Florida. Within two years, Lamar threw for 2,263 yards.


In 2018, dated January 5, Lamar Jackson announced that he might enter the NFL draft 2018. The Baltimore Ravens drafted Lamar. He was selected as the fifth quarterback in the same year. 

On June 5, 2018, Lamar signed a rookie contract worth $9.47 million. Lamar has received a signing bonus of $4.97 million.

Lamar became the starting quarterback at the 2020 Pro Bowl in Orlando, Florida. He rushed for 185 yards. Lamar is the youngest quarterback in NFL history who has started a Pro Bowl game. 

In 2020, dated November 26, Lamar Jackson tested positive. That led him to the reserve/COVID-19 list. After recovery, Lamar Jackson returned in Week 13 against the Dallas Cowboys.

Later, Lamar left a few games due to his severe leg cramps. Lamar Jackson received his first career playoff game in the Wild Card Round by defeating the Tennessee Titans. He rushed for 179 yards. 

In 2021, the Baltimore Ravens offered a contract in the fifth year worth $23 million. Lamar Jackson was listed to his second Pro Bowl after coming from the unanimous MVP season.
