Brett Kissel was born on May 27, 1990. As of 2022, he is currently 32 years old. He was born in Flat Lake, Alberta, Canada. He spent much of his time on a cattle ranch. It was the business of his family. He has many plans for his life.

But since childhood, he has been passionate about music and musical instruments. At the age of 6, his grandmother gifted him a guitar.

He started playing the guitar when he was just six years old. At the age of 12, he recorded his first album. The name of his first album is “Keepin’ It Country.”


Brett Kissel grew up on a cattle ranch in Northeastern Alberta’s Flat Lake region. The name of his father is Gordon Kissel. His mother’s name is Brenda Kissel. He has a younger brother. His name is Jamison Kissel.

Brett has a lot of love for his family, so he mentions his family in his song, “Country In My Blood”.


Brett Kissel was given guitar before even he was in school. He recorded his first album before he could even drive. He became famous and became a professional singer and songwriter before he was 30.

2013 he signed a record deal with “Warner Music Canada“. In 2014 he released his third album titled “3-2-1″. This video was shot in Nashville, Tennessee. In 2015, Kissel was featured on “The Rick Mercer Report”.

His music videos include Hockey, Please Come Back, Started With a Song, Raise Your Glass, 3-2-1, Tough People Do Canadian Kid, Pick Me Up, etc.

He has received many Canadian Country Music Association awards and is a Breakthrough Artist of the Year winner at the Juno Awards.

He was recognized as the International Artist of the Year at the Worldwide Radio Summit in Hollywood, California. Apart from these, he also won various kinds of awards.
