Best TV Shows Cherishing Love and Friendship

Need TV show recommendations for a friend’s sleepover? We might help you with that then.

Almost all shows involve friendship somehow, but we are talking about shows where friendship is the focus. As a fan of Friends or The Big Bang Theory, you probably thought these were the only shows that fit this category. To help you celebrate friendship, we compiled a list of shows that will make you think how lucky you are to have these folks by your side.

Though we have done the hard part of the task, which is coming up with this list, there is just a small task for you as well. Go and check your internet connection and see if it is fast enough to run these movies.

Maybe you already have an amazing provider like Spectrum that has amazing speed tiers and affordable plans. And if that is the case, you are good to go. However, if you have a slow and unreliable network, now is the time to think about it getting changed.

On that important note, let us start with the TV shows you can watch with your friends and celebrate your friendship:

1. iZombie

The story takes place at a party where Liv Moore, a medical school student, gets turned into a living zombie based on the comic book of the same title. Liv works with a medical examiner for the sake of containing her cravings without harming herself because of her pale complexion and constant appetite for brains.

It will keep you and your friends on your toes throughout the entire show as you notice every twist and turn in the plot, as well as the intense character development. Watching the whole season at once is the only logical decision you need at the moment.

2. Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt

Taking place in New York City, the show follows Kimmy Schmidt, who has broken free from a cult and is now trying to live a normal life.

She lives with Titus, an aspiring Broadway actor who rents an apartment with her. This movie stars Ellie Kemper, Jane Krakowski, Titus Burgess, Jon Hamm, and Carol Kane. Netflix still has the show available, even though the series has ended.

3. Good Girls

In this Netflix crime drama about suburban moms struggling to make ends meet, three suburban mothers struggle to make ends meet. These women take on risky endeavors as desperate circumstances demand desperate measures.

Christina Hendricks plays a stay-at-home mum named Elizabeth “Beth” Boland, whose husband cheats on her and who takes partner-in-crime way too seriously. Ruby Hill (Retta) is Beth’s BFF, and she struggles to pay for her daughter’s medical care. The younger sister of Beth, Annie Marks, is a struggling single mother.

Women nearing a mental breakdown want to take charge of their lives and take advantage of the fact that luck is never in their favor. In an unlikely grocery heist, the women discover they are in for much more than they bargained for and must stay together to survive.

4. Stranger Things

Stranger Things is a Netflix sci-fi set in 1980s Hawkins, Indiana. This nerdy gang of kids seems monotonous on the surface, but one of them disappears one night while they are completing school and playing Dungeons & Dragons. A peaceful community is torn apart by this incident, which causes the squad to keep searching for their friend who is missing.

During their quest for their friend, they come across Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), who has some mysterious abilities and assists them. A powerful government agency and mysterious creatures lurking nearby also reveal dark secrets. Developed by Duffer Brothers, this nostalgic thriller debuted in 2016.

5. Never Have I Ever

Would you like to watch a teen angst drama with a diverse cast? You have found it. The show explores the curious and naive desires of a first-generation Indian American teenager. It is just another miserable high school year for Devi Vishwakumar, a spunky and spirited kid trying to find her place in the world.

Although Devi’s ambitions, her roots in desi culture, her tragic loss, and her short fuse shenanigans are largely explored in the plot, the show also highlights her friendship with Eleanor and Fabiola, who help her figure out life in a sweet and ridiculous way.
