Valerie Ann Bertinelli is a 62-year-old actress born on April 23, 1960, in Wilmington, Delaware, United States. Her father is Andrew Bertinelli, and her mother is Nancy Bertinelli.

She is also the younger sister of three brothers: David, Patrick, and Drew. Her father was a G.M. executive, while her mother was a stay-at-home mom.

Her father is of Italian ancestry, and her mother is of English origin. The family traveled around a lot because of her father’s job, and they’ve resided in Claymont, Delaware; Clarkston, Michigan; Shreveport, Louisiana; and several other locations. She went to Granada Hills High School.
