Biography
Born in a middle-class family in 1985, on 10 October, Yash Dasgupta is a new pioneer of the Tollywood film industry. His father’s name is Dipak Dasgupta, and by profession, he is a Transport businessman; due to his transferable job, Yash travels all over India.
He was born in Kolkata and did his schooling in many places such as Mumbai, Sikkim, etc. His mother’s name is Jayati Dasgupta; she was suffering from cancer when Yash was in class 12. He is the only child of his parents.
After completing his schooling, he went to Madhya Pradesh and completed his graduation there. Because of his family situation, he did not focus on his studies but took part in many dramas and plays.
Education
As mentioned earlier that he was not so much focused on his education. He did his schooling at Navy High School in Mumbai, and after that, he shifted to Madhya Pradesh to complete his Graduation.
During that period, he studied acting at the Roshan Taneja School of Acting and also took some Dance training from Shiamak Davar’s Dance Academy.

Career
From his childhood, he was passionate about his acting career. He wanted to become an actor from the very beginning. But before comes into films, he also worked as a GYM trainer. He started his career in the Bengali film industry in 2007 with the film, “Pagol Prem.”
Then he shifted toward Hindi films and Television shows. He played a small role in the “Koi Aane Ko Hai” show in 2009 on Colors TV. After that, he did lots of Hindi films as well as serials such as “Suraj Dharmaraj,” “Bandin,” and “Adalat.”
Still, he was a struggling actor, but 2013 year became a make-or-break for his career. He signed for a Bengali serial known as “Bojhena Se Bojhena,” where he acted as Aranya Singha Roy; people liked his character so much. This serial continued for 3 long years, and after this serial, his life changed he became invulnerable in the Tollywood film industry by providing back-to-back hit films.
Here are some of his popular movies: “Gangster” along with Mimi Chakraborty (2016), “Total Dadagiri” again along with Mimi Chakraborty (2017), “Fidaa” with Sanjana Banerjee as heroin (2018), “Seven” along with Nusrat Jahan (2020).
