Victoria Principal was born on 3rd January 1950 in Fukuoka, Japan. Victoria is the elder daughter of Victor Rocco Principal, who is in the US Military, and due to her father’s transferable job, the family moved to the places quite often.
Her family traveled to many places worldwide, and she mainly grew up in several areas, including London, Florida, Georgina, etc.
From her childhood, Victoria Principal has had a passion for acting, and when she was just five years old, she appeared in TV commercials.

Victoria Principal is the daughter of the United States Air Force Sergeant Victor Rocco Principal, stationed in Fukuoka, Japan. She spent her three months of life on Japanese Soil.

She won her first film role as Marie Elena, a Mexican mistress, in John Huston’s “The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean” (1972) (opposite Paul Newman), for which she earned a Golden Globe Nomination as Most Promising Newcomer.
After this, her work was appreciated so much, and after that, several writers started to approach her.
Later, she appeared in the film called “The Naked Ape” (1973), and in 1974, she was cast in the disaster film “Earthquake”.
Once Victoria also decided to leave acting and became a Hollywood talent agent, her profession was from 1975 to 1977.
When Principal obtained the pilot audition script for Dallas, her academic career ambitions changed, and she decided to return to the full-time acting profession.
In 1981, Principal appeared on the song “All I Have to Do Is Dream” with singer Andy Gibb. Throughout her nine-year run in Dallas, Principal found worldwide fame.
After 1987 she went on to star in various television films, some of which she produced through her production company Victoria Principal Production.
