Ushasi Ray was born on 17 October 1993 in Kolkata into a Bengali family. After playing some lead roles in Bengali serials, she became famous, especially on Star Jalsha and Zee Bangla.
She acted brilliantly in some Bengali TV serials like: Milon Tithi, Jai Kali Kalkattawali, Bokul Kotha, Kadambini, and many more.

Next, in 2017, she appeared as ‘Muniya’ (Cameo Role) in the detective TV serial of Star Jalsha named, Jai Kali Kalkattawali.
2017 was a dream year for her as she again got a lead role in Zee Bangla’s TV show “Bokul Kotha”. She here acted in the character of ‘Bokul’ and people like her acting so much. This serial is one of the High ranking and successful TV serials of Zee Bangla. So this serial gave her so much popularity. Her show comes to an end on 01 February 2020.
Later, she acted in some other serials like: “Shaktirupeno” (as Devi Baramchandi), “12 Mashe 12 Rupe Debibaran” (as Devi Kamakhya), Durga Soptosoti Sombhobami Juge Juge (as Devi Satakshi).
She also participated in Zee Bangla’s TV serial Didi No 1.
In 2020, again, she got an excellent opportunity to act in Zee Bangla’s TV serial “Kadambini” based on the real-life story of the first women doctor of West Bengal. Here she performed in the lead role of ‘Kadambini Ganguly’, and again people liked her acting. This show is also a successful show on that channel.
