Shabnam was born into a musical family. Both her mother Surayyo Qosimova and her sister Farzonai Khurshed are Tajik singers. Shabnam’s single in 2006 had ranked No.1 in Tajikistan. She predominantly works with Jawid Sharif or Najib Nawabi, artists from Afghanistan, and her cover songs, as well as she both, are very famous in Afghanistan.
She did her duet Ey Khuda by collaborating with Jawid Sharif. Shabnam also performed with other famous Tajik singers like Suhrobi Safarzod, Parvina Shukruloeva. Shabnam also performed in Leila Forouhar’s concert in 2006 in Tajikistan.
