Wilde grew up in Georgetown, a neighborhood of Wahington DC. In the early part of her schooling, she attended Georgetown Day School in Washington DC, and later shifted to a boarding school, Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts.

Wilde began her acting career on the television drama series “Skin“, which premiered on Fox in 2003. She played the role of Jewel Goldman for six episodes of the show.
Before joining movies she did another stint on a Television series called “The O.C” in 2004. She played the role of Alex kelly a bar owner.
In 2004, Wilde made her film debut in the sports drama film The Girl Next Door. She subsequently had roles in the films Conversations with Other Women (2005), Alpha Dog (2006), Turistas (2006), Bickford Shmeckler’s Cool Ideas (2006), and Bobby Z (2007).
