Nimrat Khaira is an Indian actress. Her full name is Nimratpal Kaur Khaira. Her birthplace is Mustafapur, Punjab, India. She belongs to a Sikh family. She completed her schooling at D.A.V. School, Batala, Punjab. Nimrat was ready towards acting since her childhood later she changed her mind and interested in singing.
She learned classical music from Sushil Narang. She was a contestant in a singing reality show named ‘Awaaz Punjab Di’ when she was in her 12th standard but later she was eliminated from the show after being selected in the top 20 contestants. In 2012, she won the reality show ‘Voice Of Punjab’ (season 3). After that, She completed her graduation degree from HMV College, Jalandhar in Biotechnology.
Nimrat Khaira belongs to a Sikh Family. Her father is a Government servant in the Forest Department and her mother is a Government teacher. She is the only child of her parents.
She is the winner of Voice of Punjab season 3. Nimrat made her first singing debut in 2015 with a duet song “Rabb Karke” along with Nishwan Bhullar. After that, She earned fame after the release of her single track “Ishq Kacheri”.
Gradually, Nimrat gave various Punjabi hit songs which were ‘SP De Rank Wargi’, ‘Salute Wajde’, ‘Taanvi Changa Lagda’, ‘Rohab Rakhi ‘. She has done playback singing for various films like ‘Dubai Wale Sheikh’ in the film ‘Manje Bistre,’ ‘Akhar’ in the film ‘Lahoriye.’
In 2017, she made her first acting debut in a Punjabi film named ‘Lahoriye’. In this film, her character’s name is ‘Harleen Kaur’. In 2018, she looks in a lead role in the film ‘Afsar’.
