Nick Chubb took birth on 27 December 1995 in Cedartown, Georgia, US.
Chubb is named after his great-grandfather, one of eight brothers who built Chubbtown, Georgia, a free black colony that survived the American Civil War.

Henry, his older brother, was a cornerback for Troy University and Zach, his younger brother, was a defensive back for Air Force. His father, Henry, was a linebacker at Georgia, and his uncle Aaron was a linebacker for Valdosta State.
Bradley Chubb, a first-round draught selection of the Denver Broncos in 2018, and Brandon Chubb, an undrafted free agent who has appeared on numerous NFL squads, are cousins.

Chubb attended Cedartown High School in Cedartown, Georgia. As a junior, he led the state of Georgia in rushing yards with 2,721 with 38 touchdowns as a junior.
He captured the state title in the shot put at the 2014 Class AAAA with a throw of 16.77 meters (55 ft). Chubb was ranked by both Rivals.com and Scout.com as a four-star recruit.
College
He was named the Belk Bowl MVP and finished his freshman season with 1,547 rushing yards, good for second in the SEC, despite starting just eight games.
In 2015, he tied with Herschel Walker with 13 consecutive 100-yard games before suffering a knee injury that kept him from beating the record.
He missed the rest of the 2015 season but returned in time for the 2016 season. He also became second in all-time SEC rushing yards behind only Herschel Walker.

Chubb was thought to enter the 2017 NFL Draft but returned for his senior season. He amasses 1,345 yards on 223 carries (6.0 average) with 15 touchdowns during his senior campaign and led the Bulldogs to an SEC title.

2018
On June 4, 2018, Nick Chubb signed a four-year rookie deal with the Cleveland Browns worth about $7.4 million. Chubb played behind veterans Carlos Hyde and Duke Johnson in his rookie season.
On October 19, after the Browns traded Hyde to the Jacksonville Jaguars, Chubb was named the full-time starter.
2019
Bradley Chubb finished his second season with 1,494 rushing yards and eight touchdowns.
He had his sixth 100-yard game with 106 yards (99 of them in the second half) against the Cincinnati Bengals.
His rushing yards were second-highest behind Derrick Henry, who rushed for 1,540 yards.

2020
In his first two seasons, he recorded over 1,000 rushing yards and became the first Browns running back to run for a touchdown of 40 yards or more since Jim Brown in 1958.
In the Wild Card game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, he totaled 145 yards on 22 touches, including a 40-yard touchdown catch in the fourth quarter that broke open the game.
2021
On July 31, 2021, Chubb signed a three-year, $36.6 million contract extension with the Browns. On December 20, 2021, Chubb was one of five Cleveland Browns players selected to the NFL Pro Bowl.
