Joey Logano was born on May 24, 1990, in Middletown, Connecticut, to Thomas J. Logano and Deborah Bidduk Logano. He is the only child of his parents. Joey’s father is of Italian ancestry. When Joey was just a child, he started playing ice hockey and racing.

Career
Joey started his early career in the year 1996. In 2005, Joey Logano ran in one NASCAR Pro Truck Series race at the New Smyrna Speedway. Here, he started first and finished the race second.
Joey also took part in the USAR Hooters Pro Cup Series. Joey Logano also steered in one USAR Hooters Pro Cup Series, Northern Division race, and six Championship Series races.
Joey concluded the 2007 Grand National season with 13 starts. On 2008, May 8, Joey won the Carolina 500 when he started working with Venturini Motorsports. Besides, he started his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut at Talladega.

Joey was the youngest winner in Nationwide history by achieving his first major NASCAR series. On July 10, 2009, Joey earned the Dollar General 300.
Joey also won at Michigan International Speedway. In 2013 at Dover, Joey achieved the NNS races for a third and fourth consecutive time in the Nationwide series. Joey Logano commenced his 2015 Xfinity Series schedule at Atlanta by winning the pole.
On March 28, 2015, Logano started driving for the Brad Keselowski Racing. Logano also started quite well in the 2016 Xfinity Series.
Cup series
On August 25, 2008, Joey Logano drove the No. 20 Home Depot-sponsored Toyota Camry in the 2009 Sprint Cup Series for Joe Gibbs Racing.

On August 28, 2008, Joey went five races in their No. 96 car during the 2008 Sprint Cup Series season. Logano first appeared in a Sprint Cup car at Richmond International Raceway on September 5, 2008.
In 2009, Logano won the vote for the 2009 NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race, and he finished this in eighth place. On November 22, 2009, Logano won the 2009 Sprint Cup Series Raybestos Rookie of the Year. He achieved his first-ever Coors Light Pole Award on March 19, 2010.
In 2012, dated September 4, Joey Logano left Joe Gibbs Racing and joined Penske Racing in 2013. He started the No. 22 Shell / Pennzoil-sponsored Ford for the Team Penske.

In 2014, Logano began with an 11th-place finish in the 2014 Daytona 500. Logano also started his 200th cup series start at Kentucky Speedway. On September 25, 2014, Joey Logano had signed a multi-year contract extension with Team Penske.
In stage 1, during the GEICO 500, Logano was turned by Hamlin. In this current year of 2022, Joey started the year by winning the 2022 Busch Light Clash at The Coliseum.
