She was born in California, America in 1976-77 in an African American family. Her childhood was normal and she graduated from Bishop O’Dowd High School which was located in Oakland, California around the year 1993.

Then, she pursued a major in History at Wellesley College in Wellesley, Massachusetts. She graduated in 1997. After graduating, she worked in Washington DC for two whole years but then decided to attend Stanford Law School.

She graduated from that institution in 2002 and clerked at a Federal District Court in San Francisco, she again worked there for 2 years before joining a law firm. There, her main focus was on security and intellectual property.

Jasmine Guillory completed her high school in 1993 at Bishop O’Dowd High School. Then, she majored in History at Wellesley college which was in Wellesley, Massachusetts. Then, she continued to study at Stanford Law School before working in Washington DC for two years.

In April 2015, Jasmine marked the beginning of her career as an author and writer by taking part in the National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo), it was an annual writing project where she finished half of a book draft for her first ever novel, “The Wedding Date” it was published in 2018.

That book gained decent fame and was noted as publication by Target, Elle Magazine, The Washington Post, and USA Today Bestsellers. Then, she wrote additional books such as The Proposal.
