Early Life/Education
Andrew Adams was born on the 28th of October. His birthplace is Fayetteville, GA. He started his schooling at Woodward Academy. Later, he joined the University of Connecticut.
During his college life, Andrew started playing football for the college team. Adams played 33 games throughout his college period.
Within these 33 games, all 12 in 2014 and 13 in 2015 are included. He became one of the four captains during this time. He led the Huskies with 103 tackles.
Career
In 2026, Andrew signed a three-year, $1.62 million contract as an undrafted free agent with the New York Giants on May 1.
The New York Giants waived him as part of their final roster cuts in the same year. On the following day, Adams was signed to their practice squad.
Again on September 23, 2016, he made one tackle during a 29–27 loss against the Washington Redskins in the 3rd week.
After a few weeks, on October 3, 2016, Adams gained his first career start though he took the place of free safety. Darian Thompson suffered a foot injury. He finished the Giants’ 24–10 loss at the Minnesota Vikings. He finished this with six combined tackles and one pass deflection.
On November 6, 2016, Andrew Adams collected a season-high nine combined tackles, deflected two passes.
Adams Andrew made his first career interception a 28–23 win against the Philadelphia Eagles. Andrew Adams finished his rookie season in 2016.
He included 46 combined tackles (31 solos), five pass deflections, and one interception in 14 games and 13 stars in this rookie season.
Andrew Adams received an overall grade of 79.4 from Pro Football Focus. His grade was the second-highest best grade among rookie safeties in 2016.
In 2017 during the training camp, Andrew Adams Adams contested to be a starting free safety against Darian Thompson.
Adams finished the 2017 NFL season. This season, he included 34 solo tackles and two pass deflections in 16 games and four starts.
Again in 2018, Adams contested against Darian Thompson to be the starting free safety during training camp. On September 1, 2018, Andrew Adams was waived officially by the New York Giants.
On September 26, 2018, Andrew signed a contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He replaced Chris Conte on injury reserve. On December 2, 2018, Adams had done one tackle.
In week 15, Andrew Adams collected seven combined tackles, but the Buccaneers lost 27–20 at the Dallas Cowboys.
On March 14, 2019, Adams signed a one-year contract with the Detroit Lions. On March 24, 2020, Adams re-signed to a one-year-long contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, worth $1 million.
On March 18, 2021, Andrew signed a contract with the Philadelphia Eagles. This contract was for one year. He was waived on August 31 by the Eagles.
On September 2, 2021, Adams again joined the Buccaneers as a practice squad member.
